I've gotta do this thing called a photo essay for my uni course. Basically you just have to take ten photographs, each one relating to a subject that we've been given. So here's the ten themes we've gotta do. (In brackets are the marking criteria so I've gotta try and emphasize those qualities in the photos)
Architecture (Viewpoint. Line. Shape & Pattern.)
Rubbish (Colour. Texture. Pattern)
Treasure (Viewpoint. Colour. Texture.)
Money (Viewpoint. Texture. Light.)
Fitness (Movement & Motion)
Transport (Detail. Context. Location.)
Doors (Viewpoint. Surface. Texture.)
Tranquility (People & place. Context.)
Flawed (contrast. Surface. Texture.)
A Portrait (individual or group. Studio. Lighting. Composition.)
They're kinda poopy words. And I can't use my own camera I have to use the uni one which is annoying tbh.
Anyone got any inspiring thoughts or images to get me started. If not I think I'll have to happy snap until I find something that fits in one of the themes!
I've only got until the 10th of december I think too. Plus 6 other essays and one exam. Great.
